More than 500 students, alumni and community members packed the Centennial Room in the Nebraska Union to standing room only as they took in performances and cheered on participants.

Mandala Lounge unveiling kicks off JGMC & OASIS Week

On Monday, April 10, staff at the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center unveiled new canvas prints in the Mandala Lounge during the JGMC & OASIS Open House event.

A snapshot of the original culture center of 1950 flanks the left side of the gallery while photos from events like Lunar New Year, Dish It Up, the step show and InvAsian tell the story of the building and its associated programs. An image from the construction of the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center in 2009 completes the symmetrical pattern.
