Thursday, October 20, 2022 Husker Vote Coalition gets students engaged in democracy

Throughout the fall semester, a common sight in the Nebraska Unions and college buildings has been students getting the word out about the upcoming election. These vote ambassadors are members of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Husker Vote Coalition, a student-led initiative to engage students in the democratic process.

Students seeking support from peers now can request online to talk with a Well-being Ambassador. Whether students are search of support, want to set personal goals, need help finding resources or just desire to talk with someone new and get perspective, peer listening is available.
