The Officer of Fraternity and Sorority Life at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln hosted the eighth annual Greek Preview on Saturday, March 4 and Sunday, March 5, attracting more than 900 students and guests to campus. Designed to introduce high school seniors to Greek life, the event invites future huskers to learn about fraternities and sororities, and to understand the recruitment processes.

On Saturday, over 25 fraternity chapters gathered in the Nebraska Union to educate prospective members and their parents on the chapter’s values and goals. Attendees had the opportunity to talk with current members of the chapter, ask questions about the organization and learn about chapter's recruitment process. After chapter presentations, attendees spent 30 minutes learning about the expectations of fraternity membership as a whole and had the opportunity to tour eight fraternity chapter houses. Following the tours, potential members were invited to enjoy barbecues and the nice weather outside each chapter house.

On Sunday, it was the women's turn. Fifteen of the 16 Panhellenic sorority chapters at Nebraska participated in Greek Preview. Similar in format to the fraternities, the day opened with chapters presentations on values and goals. Next, Panhellenic’s Vice President of Recruitment Development Kalen Frericks presented on important dates and information for sorority recruitment. She also led a fashion show depicting what to wear during recruitment where the other eight members of the Panhellenic Executive Team served as models. After the presentation, attendees toured 14 sorority chapter houses.
